How I spent my Easter. Part 3. The PM.
So, now that you know why this day was destined to be great, I can continue telling my story.
So, I finished watching the movie at home at about 1:00PM. Called Denis, my friend, best friend, by the looks of it. He was on the phone with my girlfriend (as I’ve mentioned earlier my phone was off during the morning) who was complaining about not being able to reach me.
So yeah, from Denis I found out that my girlfriend is coming to my hood for a while. Then, once that was settled we went to McFoxy (a fast food place, the closest we have to KFC in Kyiv) for some ice cream. Once we had that, we went outside again.
There, I received a call from my mum.
“Hey, can you be home at 7:00PM?” she asked.
“Um, sure. Why?” I asked.
“Well,” she began to answer, “your grandparents are coming back from the village (which, may I remind you, my dear reader, I didn’t have to go to :D) and they want us to come by to celebrate Easter.”
Left without a choice I responded with the following words; “Sure, ok, I’ll be there.”
This brief conversation ruined my mood. I called my girlfriend to tell her that she shouldn’t come (cuz I’d have to leave early), but she was already on her way to us.
She came withing 30 minutes.
I feel like an idiot writing this. 2 days passed already… wtv. I guess I’ll have to get used to this.
We walked around my “hood” and had some more ice-cream. Then we went to a couple of swings (may I remind you that it was still the 3 of us) and just sat and swung and talked and ate ice-cream. So yeah. Peaceful, isn’t it?
Then we kind of tried our best (my girlfriend and I) to get some “private time”. Denis, being the stupid motherfucker that he is (no offence bro :D) did his best to drive us crazy. haha. yeah. Good times.
Then, in about 30 minutes I started heading home. My girlfriend was going to hang out with some friends of mine and Denis.
SO, I come home and guess what my Mum tells me?
“Yeah, you know, we’re not going anywhere. Your grandparents called and said that they’re tired and that we shouldn’t come.”
Can you imagine how happy I was? No you can’t. Seriously, you can try, but you won’t be able to.
So yeah, I took my skateboard and went to chill with my friends. I was extremely happy to find out that my girlfriend didn’t leave yet. Needless to say, I didn’t do much skateboarding :) haha.
